GUIDED MEDITATIONS

With Tonglen practice, also known as “taking and sending,” we reverse our usual logic of pushing away suffering and craving pleasure. We visualize taking in the pain of others with every in-breath and sending out the opposite quality or what may ultimately ease ones suffering on the out-breath. During the process, we offer our fearless heart to the world and become liberated from our beginningless patterns of greed, hatred, and delsusion. We come into clear deep heart mind and share this with others.

This guided meditation leads one into the heart of compassion. May your suffering be eased, may your heart be at peace. May you be filled with loving kindness.

Mindfulness of the body is one of the four foundations of mindfulness practice. This practice can lead to deep insight and meditative awareness. This meditation goes into all of the areas of the body including the internal, external sensations, elements, postures, and dissolution of the body as outlined in the Satipatthana Sutta.

Chanting these Six syllables purify the six realms of existence in suffering. Chanting along, concentrate on each syllable, whenever the minds wanders, gently bring awareness back to the sound of each syllable and its meaning.

“Om” it is blessed to help you achieve perfection in the practice of generosity. “Ma” helps perfect the practice of pure ethics, and “Ni” helps achieve perfection in the practice of tolerance and patience. “Pad,” the fourth syllable, helps to achieve perfection of perseverance. “Me” helps achieve the perfection in the practice of concentration, and the final sixth syallable, “Hum” helps achieve perfection in the practice of wisdom. -Gen Rinpoche

This track is for going on a shamanic journey. First begin by clearing the space in which you will journey with sacred smoke such as sage or incense, light a candle and make sure you will not be disturbed. This track is best with headphones but not necessary. Begin your journey by closing your eyes and imagining and entrance into the earth such as a cave or a hollowed tree, a spring or even a hole in the ground. This is how to enter the lower world. “Entrances to the lower world commonly lead down a tunnel or tube that conveys the shamanic practitioner to an exit, which opens out upon marvelous landscapes.” -Michael Harner

Listen for the call back which is 3 single strikes followed by amount 2 minutes of faster drumming. Return to ordinary reality the same that you entered in the lower world. It is a good idea to form an intention or question to seek guidance on before you journey. Be sure to give thanks to any helpful guides. Safe journey. A’ho.

This simple yet powerful meditation offered by Thich Nhat Hanh takes us into our true essence. By simply breathing and being mindful of our hearts, we then offer ourselves loving kindness by smiling to our heart. Find a comfortable position, breathe deeply and let this meditation bring you to your true home.

Sitting comfortably with spine straight, eyes closed, head tilted slightly forward. Allow your breath to flow naturally. Bringing attention to your 3rd eye as you exhale. Chanting Aum, allowing yourself to merge into the primordial sound of creation, restoring your mind and body to harmony, balance, and stillness.

This is a guided meditation from my teacher Maestro Alfonso DeRose. It is a guided meditation that takes you deep into the heart space to experience a field of love energy surrounding you. To use as a couple, listen while gazing into each others eyes.
